Video Trial Lesson (Mornings)

Terms & Conditions

*PLEASE READ THE TERMS & CONDITIONS CAREFULLY* One on one only. No group lessons. Only one trial class per potential client is offered. Some students may be required to purchase learning materials, e.g. music books, picks which are purchased separately from the lessons. It is mandatory that you also have an instrument for the trial class. We also hold the right to refuse lessons. There are no refunds for online video lessons. We will not refund lessons taken. •     Download Zoom on your device •     Test it to see that your webcam and audio are working before the class •     Calibrate Zoom to avoid echo during the classes (Click Original Sound For Musicians in Audio Settings) •     There is a 5 minute buffer between classes •     *We cannot refund a class due to poor connection disconnections during class* Transcend Guitar School withholds the right to adjust fees as needed. Lessons run through school holidays as normal (except end of year break). If you plan to go on break please give ample notice and a return date. If your lesson should land on a public holiday, it will be moved ahead to the following week, no refunds will be given if your lesson should land on a public holiday. Please let us know at least 24 hours before cancelling a class or you will be charged for that slot (without a makeup lesson). If a teacher is unable to teach a lesson for any reason, a make-up lesson will be arranged at an agreed upon time and date. (Pushed ahead one week) If you arrive late to your lesson, any time lost will not be recuperated and you will still be charged the full amount of that lesson. If you have paid for classes and have taken an informed break or leave from classes, please keep in mind that a return date must be given. Lack of practice is not accepted as an excuse to cancel a class. If over the course of weeks/months, we feel attendance is subpar, we also have the right to contest the viability of the classes and may consider ceasing them. Only one week of absence per month is permitted during school terms, this includes all students. If a second absence is requested during the same month it must be either recuperated via a makeup lesson or it will be charged as normal. Transcend Guitar School will not use, copy, adapt, alter or part with possession of any information of the other which is disclosed in this agreement. This contract is valid until the ongoing relationship/services requested by the customer have ceased.
